Why you should work at Rocky Mountain Pet Care (RMPC)
đžYou have a love for animals and want to build relationships with pets of all kinds.â đžYou want to make a difference in our community by providing top quality care.â đžYou want to be more active and spend more time with animals.â đžYou have a flexible schedule and are looking for supplemental income.
Why this job might not be a good fit for you
đžBecause our schedule depends on clients needs, there are no guaranteed hours, and your schedule will change from week to week, often with little notice from the clients.â đžWe work outdoors in all weather. Including snow, rain, and heat. ââ đžWe work in the clients homes, so you will be expected to drive your own vehicle to each pet sit or dog walk.ââ đžWe are open 365 days a year, and most people travel for holidays thus needing a sitter, which means we are usually busy on major holidays.ââ đžWe work with animals, and sometimes those animals get sick, have accidents, have emergencies, or make messes. If cleaning up bodily fluids, strong smells, or administering medication gross you out or make you uncomfortable, then this may not be the job for you.
